AN ACT relating to pharmacy benefit managers; requiring
pharmacy benefit managers to obtain a license from the
Department of Health and Human Services; authorizing
the Department to take certain actions to regulate
pharmacy benefit managers; enacting certain
requirements concerning the operation of a pharmacy
benefit manager; requiring pharmacy benefit managers to
report information relating to certain coverage regulated
under federal law; removing the requirement that a
pharmacy benefit manager obtain from the Commissioner
of Insurance a certificate of registration as an
administrator; providing a penalty; and providing other
matters properly relating thereto.
