SB 1369 creates the Office of the State Coordinator for Health Information Exchange within the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. The Coordinator shall be appointed by the Administrator of
the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. Coordinator shall designate a health information exchange organization as the state-designated entity for health information exchange. Data submitted to the shall be treated as confidential. Such data may be disclosed to state agencies, researchers, and
healthcare providers without cost. The health information exchange organization shall be governed by its stakeholders.
