Requires managed care plans to allow any clinical laboratory to participate in provider network. This bill provides that a health insurance carrier which offers a managed care plan that provides coverage for laboratory services provided by clinical laboratories shall not deny a licensed clinical laboratory the right to participate as a provider in the carrier’s provider network under the same terms and conditions currently applicable to all other participating clinical laboratories.
