A carrier that offers a health benefits plan in this State shall ensure that the plan does not contain any provision that: denies or limits benefits for a preexisting condition to any covered person; or uses a preexisting condition as a factor in calculating a premium. See definition section N.J. Rev. Stat. § 26:2S-2.
