Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, no group health insurance contract issued by a medical service corporation pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1940, c. 74 shall contain any provision which denies benefits for a preexisting condition to any person becoming a member of that group. A medical service corporation shall not include a preexisting condition as a factor in calculating the premium. See definition section N.J. Rev. Stat. § 17:48A-1.
