LB949 would require any individual or group sickness and accident insurance policy which provides reimbursement for prescription insulin drugs limit the total amount that a covered individual is required to pay for covered prescription insulin drugs at an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars per thirty-day supply of insulin, regardless of the amount or type of insulin needed to fill the covered individual’s prescription.
