PROVIDE FOR DRUG PRODUCT SELECTION FOR INTERCHANGEABLE BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS: LB481 updates Nebraska Statutes to allow for the substitution of biologic products only with FDA approved interchangeable biologics. Current state law governs the substitution by pharmacists of generic drugs for their branded counterparts, and similar statutory direction is needed to construct state policy allowing for the substitution of FDA approved interchangeable biologics.
