HF 4095 (see companion bill SF 3907) – Minnesota

Status: Inactive / Dead
Year Introduced: 2022

This bill would establish the MinnesotaCare Public Option, allowing Minnesotans to enroll in the program to take advantage of lower out-of-pocket costs and access to a strong network of providers. The bill would also allow small employers to offer MinnesotaCare coverage to their employees and contribute toward the full cost of their premiums. Currently, MinnesotaCare is only available to persons with low income, but the bill would expand MinnesotaCare to all persons who meet all other current eligibility requirements.
