This bill proposes the creation of the Affordable Medicaid Buy-In Program in West Virginia. The program aims to provide a high-quality, low-cost health insurance plan that maximizes federal funds for residents. The Department of Health Services is required to develop and administer this program. A Health Care Affordability and Access Improvement Fund will be established and an advisory council will be appointed to oversee the program.
