Regards out-of-network health care: The bill requires a health plan issuer to reimburse an individual out-of-network provider for unanticipated out-of-network care when the care is provided to a person at an in-network facility and the services would be covered if provided by an in-network provider. Prohibits a provider from balance billing a patient for unanticipated or emergency care as described above when that care is provided in Ohio. Requires a provider to disclose certain information to patients regarding the cost of
other out-of-network services.
