Registered nurse anesthetists may order diagnostic tests and consult with other health professionals, establish anesthesia care plans, deliver anesthesia in the presence of a physician, podiatrist, or dentist, administer drugs necessary for the delivery of anesthesia, and direct other nurses in supportive care.
