An Act amending the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L.682, No.284), known as The Insurance Company Law of 1921, in casualty insurance, providing for cost-sharing calculation. This bill requires insurers or pharmacy benefit managers (PBM) to count any amounts paid by the enrollee or paid on behalf of the enrollee by another person (i.e., drug manufacturer) when calculating an enrollee’s overall contribution to the plan’s deductible or out-of-pocket limit.
