MARYLAND Rx PROGRAM – PHARMACY BENEFITS MANAGERS CONTRACTS WITH PHARMACIES AND PHARMACISTS: Prohibits the Department of Budget and Management from contracting with a pharmacy benefit manager if the pharmacy benefit manager has an ownership interest or any other means of financial interest in a pharmacy or pharmacist, or if the pharmacy benefit manager and a pharmacy or pharmacist are both assets of the same corporation.
