As introduced, this bill requires the Department of Health to conduct a study to evaluate availability of affordable long-term care facilities, services and supports for residents of the District of Columbia. Among other things the study will provide a projection of the number of DC residents who will require facility-based and home and community-based long-term care services over the next 10 years and provide any recommendations deemed appropriate for the development of needed service capacity.
