
About Stephen Cosenza, Student Fellow
Stephen Cosenza Jr. is a Student Fellow for The Source on Healthcare Price & Competition. He currently works on the Database of State Laws Impacting Healthcare Cost and Quality (SLIHCQ) and composes the monthly roundup of academic articles and reports. Stephen is a first-generation 2L at UC Law SF and plans on pursuing the Social Justice Lawyering concentration. At UC Law SF, he is on the Moot Court team and is a Co-Chair for both the UC Law SF Abolition & Prisoner Outreach and the UC Law SF chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. During his first year, Stephen participated in Pro Bono projects through UnCommon Law and Homeless Advocacy Project and received a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing I. Stephen holds a B.S. in Sports Management from New York University and worked for Manchester City FC as Manager, CFM Americas prior to returning to California.The Source Roundup: June 2023 Edition

In the past month, newly released publications have chronicled how partnerships, alternative payment models, and insurer market power affect competition and consolidation. Separately, researchers examined Affordable Care Act developments in terms of its impact on coverage and costs of health care.
