ALLOWING PHARMACIES AND PHARMACISTS TO INFORM PATIENTS ABOUT LOWER COST ALTERNATIVES: Prohibits a contract for pharmacy services, entered into between an insurer or pharmacy benefit manager and a pharmacy or pharmacist, from containing a provision prohibiting or penalizing a pharmacist’s disclosure to an individual purchasing prescription medication of information.
