PHARMACY BENEFIT MANAGERS: Would prohibit pharmacy benefit managers from charging or collecting a copayment that is greater than the amount paid to pharmacist or pharmacy. Would require informing a covered person of the difference between their insurance copayment and amount if insurance is not used. Would limit ability of pharmacy benefit manager to interfere or restrict communication with persons on copayment amount in comparison to not using insurance. Would prohibit PBM interference with alternative drug discussions. Would prohibit pharmacy or pharmacist being charged a fee related to a claim.
